I have this Bodyguard available. Double edge, W1 blade with hamon, stainless guard, black linen micarta handle, 5.5 inch blade, 10 inches overall....
It could also be a lighting thing...they change as they play in the light. At one angle the ashi lines can look almost black and change the angle...
Very nice, Tim! The San Mai is from 1095 and 410 stainless though...you couldn't make 15N20 look like that
