    Man sounds like z-wear is the way to go. I was just basing my decision off of larrins edge retention data. But you really cant beat field experience

    Well after reading over larrins article again I think I'm gonna go with s45vn cause it has better edge retention than z-wear and its stainless

    For the .125 thick stuff grind post heat treat. The thicker stuff go down to .020 take it to a 220grit finish. Post heat treat clean up with 220...
