BK14 was used for everything from food prep to pack mods:

    My buddies along the trail:

Certian death. It's a lot steeper then it looks.

    The perfect duo:

    View from the campsite:

    Down the trail:

Red mountian. Probably rich in iron?:

Wild blueberries all over the mountian. Made for some good oatmeal and snacks:

    Also some tasty salmon berries:

When I wasn't carrying my pack I carried my BK9 on my hip:

My Osprey pack. Swear by this brand. Great design:

    Another 9er shot:

Closer to the lake. Good swimming but a little chilly at 7,000 feet:

The trail. It goes from Canada to Mexico but we only did 8 miles of it. Would love to take 5 months and trek the whole thing but I have this lame ass thing called work to go to. Thanks for looking everybody.

Where was your 8 mile stretch ? That's fantastic, I think if I hiked there I would consider some sort of helmet cam to get some video.

I've done a few miles of the PCT, but it's been far too many years.
Need to get the kids in gear and head back up.
    Thanks for sharing.

Very nice pictures. I love the nature! Sometimes I really wish we had forests up here, with actual trees like you have.

    Lol :D
Get down to Sørlandet. You could probably bring enough trees back north to plant your own forest and nobody would notice.

Back on topic: Threads like these make me want to cross the big pond and see the trails that the US have to offer.

It was a section off I-90 called kendell's katwalk. Tough hike but well worth it.
