I’m hoping once the passaround gets rolling, and people get to try this out, that there will be some interest. I’ve purposely held off on ordering the steel until I see how it goes.

Something like this with a 6" blade sounds sweet

After the extra length the special foil wrap creates, the longest blade possible is about 5”

I'm excited for that pass around. I plan to EDC this knife for at least a week and give it some time in the woods and the kitchen.

The Rule#9 blade is about 5", that would be a really nice length blade.

All of his standard materials are the same price. Ironwood and brown burlap have upcharges but most are the same price.

I think the Improved Bowie would make a great kitchen knife too, maybe similar and yet different to stretching out the BnT as a parry knife.

I'd be interested w/ ironwood or (especially) bocote if you could do a 4.5-5" blade (preference more towards 5") w/ thickness of 1/16 (anything <.100 would work, but .080-.060 would be ideal)

trying to avoid acquiring more ~2.5-4" fixed blades for the moment
