So, did you get one yet? What’s the first knife you got in 2020?
Sure haven't. Haven't really had my eye on anything, tbh. I was thinking about the Skrama, but lost interest in it. I guess I feel like I have enough to cover my needs. I need to get rid of a few I rarely use.
This is the first year in awhile I haven't ordered myself a folding knife. Perhaps because I didn't feel a return-from-sea present was necessary, being a land-lubber all year.
So I'm keeping the one I finished on the 31st (from the other thread):
I feel like this too...and then the sickness gets me again.
Beautiful work, @daizee !
The last holiday gift I ordered for myself and the first knife to arrive in 2020, a small Sebenza...
Yeah, that’s a great one.
no plans for a new knife yet -- but I'm giving a couple away tomorrow.
Fallkniven F1 is on the way. That'll be the first in 2020.
My last knife of 2019 was a new Camillus Campanion. I haven't had a chance to brag about it yet.
Another Bk4 Promo I picked up from Brother tobiism. And another Esee Laser Strike to replace the other two I gave to my son and grandson
Made one Friday - hoping to get the scabbard made this week so I can give it to a guy Saturday.
I fell into the trap of a Sale too good to be true...haha. Ugh! the wife is going to kill me.
I'm kinda excited.....It's pretty Sexy!
New knife from a new designer (to me)
New knife style (to me)
Sculpted handle.... before I think the Becker's were my most sculpted?
New blade steel
I've got a lot to learn about this blade.
Already dreaming of the perfect kydex for it, and how to carry it?
You like leaving us in suspense, huh?
lol.... I Actually thought about opening a new thread...."Let's Play a Game"
Guessing what knife this is? haha
With everyone's knowledge these are probably too many clues.
It's from a famous name you All heard of
This knife is limited make, I think only really sold at one place
Full, thick, curvy handle
Kind of a Sportsman's knife....Kind of a multi-purpose, and kitchen/camp looking
Model name I can't pronounce?
All Black, and sexy.
You got a “Rambo” knife! Congrats, bro!
….Can Never take the Mall out of the Ninja Warrior....haha
I won't be buying many if any sharps this year, but one that has really caught my eye and shaken up my "want" list is the Ritter RSK MK1-G2 from Hogue. Especially the model with the orange scales. I may have to splurge sometime for one of those.
The BK62 really give me the want too.
I got 2 of the traditional forum knives at the end of last year. I havent found anything to get yet this year. Ive got my eye on a couple, but havent pulled the trigger. I have some knives that I picked up the last couple of years that are all sitting in a box. i keep thinking about selling, but then I hold off. If i sold a few of those I would be feeling a lot more spendy.
Well, I've been thinking I would like a Carter Cutlery blade. Maybe a Kajiki, or the neck knife, but the Kajiki is top of the list. I also like the FS1 series, so, I might grab the 1st thing that floats my boat.
I've also considered grabbing a BK62 for my Wife. If she got her hands on my BHK Patriot scout, or my LT Wright, I might not get them back.
I wouldn't mind a BHK Highlander as well.
Funny you should ask. Here I am on a spending freeze ordered by my accountant...(my alter ego)...and the other half of my brain gives the accountant a good swift kick.
But first, a word from our sponsor.....
...mmmm, Rambo Knife!!!
So, I blame Eric (IV8888). He made me do it.
The new arrival, an M9 Bayonet (in foreground), I got it 2 days ago.
BK3 and prototype Camillus bayonet for comparison.
The M9 is JUST a TANK. Made by Phrobus III in U.S.A.
I’ve been eyeing the M9 for awhile now tangle. And the Buck 184
