who makes a 3" (more or less) folder with an exceptionally big belly? Any pictures? TIA
Spyderco Parata, go look it up.
Cold Steel Spartan. I love mine and use it a lot
Sorry .. I can't read... 3 inches you're after.
Cold Steel Mini AK-47 , less than 3" . Very thin . But now disco'd and hard to find .
The Finch 1929 may fit the bill.
If I understand correctly what you're asking for, you could look at some of Jesper Voxnaes' work. Fox's Core model is a Voxnaes design with a 3.15" blade and a strong curve to the belly.
Cold Steel Colossus.
Belly you say?
Not sure what your price-range is, OP, but the DPx HEST/F (OEM LionSteel) has a decent amount of belly in a 3.1" blade. They are, however, infamous for developing a bit of lock-rock. Mine has slight play, but not enough to bother me. If this knife interests you, you may want to also take a peek at the DPx HEST/F Urban; similar belly in a 2.9" blade and I suspect this model resolved the lock-rock issue (OEM Southern Grind.) Both are kinda spendy though.
DPx HEST/F Triple Black in Niolox
Good luck, OP!
Thanks for the details!
You could find a CRKT Wrinkle. It's a hideous folder, but a joy to use and it's all belly all the time.
I was gonna suggest this , but blade is 4" . One of my favorites !
You could fry an egg on that blade

Brother in law to the CS Spartan, the CS Rajah III. Extremely affordable (around $60 everywhere), 3 1/2" AUS10 steel blade and has good a grippy handle and of course the Tri-ad lock. Unlike some that I can't figure out what I would use a huge belly blade shape for, this makes a good camp knife. Pic from Cold Steel site.
Both are good calls . I have their "big brothers" and both are great knives ! I have carried and used both in the large / XL versions .
