I'd like one too.
This showed up in the mail earlier this week. Very, very nice!
Yes, that is my reflection. The edge has a mirror/razor finish.
Pictured with my old stand-by (no name) hawk.
great price and doesn't sound like a bad hawk.
It's a VERY nice hawk, especially for the money. Unfortunately, they've been out of contact the past couple of days. Not sure why?
They're great to deal with but very busy and (understandably) aren't always quick to respond, as it's only a 2-person show from what I understand.
Thanks for the pics.
I like the profile of the Wolfcreek hawk. It's shaped like an actual working tool. I bet it would chop circles around that other hawk. A tiny bit more slimming of the bevel would make it even better.
I want one Kentucky, they are sweet
and they both work - IIRC, her job includes either 12 or 24 hour shifts.
This has me interested in your other work. Looks fantastic.
I would like one also, web site still not up.
Thanks folks, sorry I havent been around..Things have been out of hand lately..We were on vacation and now Phillip has to have surgury on Wed..Not serious surgury but its going to put me out of the shop for a good 4-5 days..My grandmother is also in hospice care and I spend some nights with her..
Now my deal for a new website seems to have fallen thru..Ill probably go ahead and renue the old one..Im sorry folks but please be patient..With everything going on and my "real" job Im just out of time at the moment..Im thinking everything will be back to normal in about a week..
Family first!!!!!!!!!!!, the hawks and stuff can wait. Take care of yours, we will take care of you when your ready. Im sure the other will say the same. No worries here.
Thanks for the update. I've been following this thread for awhile, although I missed out on the original hawk offer. We've been a little worried about you guys.
Sounds like you've got your hands full right now. Definitely take care of family first. I suspect most of us will be here when you have time to get back in the shop.
Lisa, I can't say it any better than Pugs75.
Thanks, Im sorry I havent been online recently...Phillips surgury went just fine, hes pretty much recovered so I plan on getting back to the shop no later than THIS weekend If I can still remember how to swing a hammer I got my site back up and am going to update it tonight..I have contacted the owner Spark and am waiting on hearing back about a Wolf creek Forge forum under the makers hosted forums..So maybe we'll see how that goes too..
Thanks so much for the patience and kind words..
good luck with the subforum and good to hear everyone is back to healthy so you can get some "hammer therapy" time in.
my hawk is awesome and I get complements whenever i show up somewhere with it.
Lisa, I got my hawk and absolutely love it. I had sent a second email and asked about a second hawk. Wondering if I was still on the list for that one?
Im sure your still on there HandAxeproMan. Ill make sure..Lisa is gone to a funeral right now and Im keeping our little boy home today.
Good to hear you're doing well Phillip.
I'm new to the axe, tomahawk world and saw this thread today. This is a killer deal for a first hawk since i was considering a much more espensive cast or forged hawk. I would definitely like to get on the list for three to be used by my family and me when you open a new list.
