    I just got this pro photo back from Coop of my recent gambler's/small field bowie.

    Forged from 1084 & 15n20 'Topo Map' Damascus
    5" blade, 9 3/4" overall
    Rounded spine and ricasso edge
    416 stainless textured guand
    Raised, rounded, coined and blued steel collar
    416 stainless spacer
    Carved, sculpted and textured African blackwood handle
    Claude Scott sheath

    I'm simply speechless... The whole package is simply elegant!
    Scott's sheath keeps the clean lines, colours and textures flowing from the colors and textures of the handle... Coop's pic really does this piece justice!

    John, you are simply the king of the hunters. Every knife you post here makes me think I've never seen one finer, and this is no exception. Truly a glorious example of the knifemaker's art.

    I really like this one John. Just the right amount of pizazz... elegant, but never over-the-top. Love the texturing of the guard. Blue spacer is clean. Handle grooves add a lot, and I really dig how there's a clear delineation of the handle shape that happens right at that transition. Great work.
