Any guesses? Me, I'm hoping for a Vantage of some sort...
just released now. 501 squire. would've liked your pick better.
I like the 501 better ;-). Not sure about the scales but I'll see when it gets here.
Thanks, that saves me $140...
I depleted my monthly budget on a 110 Chairman not 30 seconds before that email arrived.
I like the 501, CMP 154 and micarta. Mine's on the way.
id rather have a 500, but its a nice one. I'm passing, for y'all that get it please post pics for us so we can see the micarta color in real view.
I feel like I picked up the better version of this knife back in February (lucky me !) - The 55
Nice Granadillo wood
Fewer made - 180
Cost less - $115
Just a little disappointed in this months BOTM also - but I hope you get the knife if you like it. As others have said - post pics, I really want to see what that micarta looks like.
Typically their pics don't do the knife justice, so I'm hoping on that.
I would like one, but don't have the cash. Good luck to those who want one!
Yes, for $140, it's a hard choice to Hope that micarta looks nice.
I love the 501; and CPM154 is a great choice...unfortunately, I wasn't thrilled with the burlap micarta on the SKB Goodfella. Hoping the burgandy is more to my liking.
I still say that Buck should make CPM154 an option for the 501 in their Custom Shop.
I like the looks and the steel.
Unfortunately I'm not a pocket knife guy.Even though I have one 501,I'm more enamored with the 112/110 models.
Beautiful knife with a great steel. I've just spent too much money lately to jump on this one. Hope everyone that really wants one can get one.
I ponied up. Interestingly, Buck has modified the checkout cart so you can no longer put in a "too large" quantity to get an error message and see how many are actually left. I always thought it was fun to see how quickly they disappeared.
Me too, Roger, I'm guessing that this one may not go as fast as some...just judging from the responses in this thread.
whats the difference in this and the dlt trading version? obviously the scales color and way les $$$
Hmmm. No email today whatsoever. Cool knife.
