It's like an EDC made a baby with a Utility Fighter.
I love my EDC’s, so I’m pretty excited about this!
Can we see it next to a FK2/UFK?
Wow are these going to be available soon?
Dang that looks good. I hope there'll be enough to go around.
Would also love to see some comparison pics. And maybe measurements?
Nathan, another stellar offering and I’m sure that you have tweeted it to preform just like all your other knives. Thank you Sir for all the work you have done over the years.
I’m in this boat too. I’m really hoping I can land the AEBL version.
I wonder if the DEK2 will have a swedge?
never fear, I have made hundreds of these. I have 175 in process D3V and 150 in a AEBL
Are you going with MashedCat for the DEK sheaths or Dozier who did the EDC sheaths?
I hope these are not enough
What a great way to start the day! Looks great!
I only need one in AEBL.... Please..... Pretty Please....
That is a good looking knife! I am looking forward to there ... excited for the AEB-L version.
What makes you guys excited for AEB-L? Just the extra corrosion resistance?
A side by side comparison of the DEK (1?) with the FK2 would be a great point of reference. To me it looks like the EDC had a child with the FK2 and then the UF was there to deliver the baby! It doesn't look quite like a pure spear point but since the point is dropped, from what I can see, it reminds me of a spear point so I don't know how a wedge will look but it is an interesting idea
For me, yes. I have read some indications of increased edge retention as well. I also haven't tried it before which is a plus.
