Below is a copy of a FAKE ebay letter sent to me twice in the last week. The threat is fake, my account is still active fours day after the original deadline. I've heard of some people taken by this stunt, so I'm posting it here to let everyone that some scammers are working hard this time of year.

On a related note, I've been getting a similar email claiming to be from Citibank, once a week or so, for the past month. Similar scam -- your account may have been compromised, go to this site, login, and update your account information. Obvious fake, what with the poor grammer and URL that includes an IP address rather than a domain name. If that wasn't enough, I don't even have an account with Citibank. Never have, either.

The following is a totally bogus Paypal email according to [email protected], the investigative arm of Paypal. As was stated above, all correspondence should be addressed specifically to the account holder by first and last name in the salutation.
The fraudulent email came with all the appropriate official looking Logos/Hotlinks...
