I worked in the sheetmetal shop this morning, trying to figure out if a could make my own aluminum gutter outlets instead of the PVC pipe nipples I'd configured. Not having any good result with that, I walked uptown to the PO around mid-day carrying this beauty...
...to pick up this beauty.
Just got a few inches of snow
Gonna do some butchering tonight so I brought out the cleaver.
Earlier it was my bugout with cf scales while at the office. Switched to my large sebenza until the rockstead showed up...
How do you like the Rocky? I haven't handled one of the Ti Higos yet.
They are beauties, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to seeing it next to some of your other rotation members. (I recently missed a chance to grab a WayNorth BlackJack and instead have been living vicariously through seeing pics of yours.)
I appreciate it, my friend. I have recently gotten back into Traditionals, and discovered that the #86 is flat out my favorite model of GEC, and have pursued them...ah, aggressively. I have actually had several days recently where all I had with me was an #86 and no time did I ever feel underknifed. I love the micarta, and how it looks ready to work!!
It's my first rockstead so all I can compare it to is my other higher end knives. Initial impression is it feels worth the money. The carbon fiber handles are beautiful and contoured. But this also makes it wider than I would prefer.
Berg Blades Pup in stonewashed titanium
I had a twin just like that OM I regret selling it.
I was generously gifted these from @315.
One for me and the other for my oldest son.
How do you like the void? I had that exact model on preorder and cancelled it, I still regret cancelling it. I cant tell if the handle is thick or not from the pics I've seen, the blade seems pretty decent bte
Are you really carrying all three of those?
If so, you definitely get a few points for enthusiasm and commitment
