I know exactly what you mean brotha, I get all giddy when I open the safe and decide which knife I'm gonna rock for the day. once I grabbed the Microtechs and that first OTF Whack happens I know I made the right decision. I really want a Troodon next...... Your dirac delta is pretty tempting too though.
That sure is a pretty trio. The Socom & Delta sure do have some nice curves on them too, 2 of my favorites.
Today's carry is my only stock Griptilian, though it's far from your usual 154CM/S30V, Noryl-handled version. This KnifeWorks exclusive 551 sports M390 steel and while the handle shape may look stock it's nice paper Micarta with open back construction. I sold off a beautifully matched 550/555 black-bladed pair with orange Igorded G10s that was too pretty to carry and mark up, but still have 5 Grips left--all modded except for this baby. Full-size Grips make great mid-sized EDC knives. I do have to remember to write Benchmade, though, and get a black oxide split arrow clip to replace the crappy black-painted one that came on this knife.
Thanks for the kind words much appreciated. I’m enjoying the color quite a bit. Hope you’re having a nice Saturday night.
Great weather here in the PNW, took the opportunity to get some chores done - this Lion Steel is a great working knife.
So true my Microtech Brotha I don’t think you can go wrong with a Delta or a Troodon no doubt. With that being said I’m very happy with my Delta. These OTF’s are special in there own way. LOL I know what you mean because sometimes I’ll just open my safe and glance and scan then grab a OTF just to hear and feel it’s magic
Thank you! Quite interesting... Definitely trying it next time in burger and chilli, that's gotta be tasty!
