Found my missing black 20CV bareknuckle that fell to the back of a drawer hidden and was lost for several weeks so broke out the others to compare. Pretty happy to have it again so in the pocket it went.
Also got this little UKPK in the mail today. pretty cool and just disappears in the pocket being only 1.7 oz!
Nice 31! What thumb stud is that? Looks kinda like a BM.
It is a BM Pulled one off one of my bugouts... makes it waaaay better IMO
It's still Smock o'clock for me.
Put a fresh bevel on this one today. Please someone make some Carbon Fiber scales for this awesome knife!
Now that is cool, what's the story on the Spyderco?
I was planning on a Carbon Fiber Friday, but going through the knife drawers my Les George Eagle drew my attention so I opted for a Framelock Flipper Friday, going back to Wilson Combat and sticking with a milled Ti framelock for a third day running. I really like this one and spent a lot of time a while back getting it to flip well, straightening out a pinched washer and discovering the secret to slicking up Teflon washers is liquid TriFlow. I've got a real nice polished edge on this CTS-XHP blade and like its subtle recurve, even going so far as to sharpen into the plunge grind to accentuate it and give the knife a pokey little beard at the back.
The other thing I really dig with this one is how stupidly slim it is for a good-sized knife while having enough breadth to really lock into my hand.
Love this knife. Awesome!
Perfect day for a hike in canyon country. My new to me large Sebenza 21:
Thanks for the compliment- the Spyderco is an Endura sprint run from several years ago. I’ve lost track of the time and date of acquisition .
Didn't carry anything today until i got home to my new custom scales. Now I'm carrying both to make up for lost time.
Im scheduled to get a new roof in 5 weeks. I guess the old one found out and started crying.
Nice spread Brother !!!!
