This was yesterday:
For gardening today:
Lightweight day off carry.
Cold Steel Voyager Vaquero XL. With its impressive 5.5" expanse of stonewashed, recurved AUS 10A steel, relative light weight of 7.2 oz., and the strongest lock in the industry, the Vaquero (translating to cowboy or cattle driver) is quite a value at under $56 shipped online.
Just bumming around the house & yard (so far) today
Yesterday’s carry for a 13 hour work day, but it brought me some much needed luck...
That’s a beauty Greg! What is it?
It's a Korsar, by Seraphim Knives out of Russia.
Kosie Steenkamp. Bought this on the exchange the other day. I've been wanting one,
I slept in a little this morning and walked out of the BR with knife in hand planning to make this a Spyderco Superleaf Saturday. Less than an hour later I found and pulled the trigger on something that checked quite a few boxes on my want list--a sweet large PJ Inkosi Insingo in carried, but excellent condition--so I switched to a CRK for Sebenza Saturday.
BTW, @TenShun705 , you're awful lucky to have such a good friend to pass along his 31 natural Micarta to you. That's one high on my want list, but Reeve says their wait list for orders is 9-10 months at this point. I'm happy for you, but pretty jealous too, brother.
What is this?
Thanks man, I’m extremely thankful to have such an amazing friend who’s been looking out for me on not only knives, but on other aspects as well. Hoping you’re having a good Memorial weekend brother!
