I'm glad you got a good one mate. Maybe i will have to have another look at English trads.
Thank you my friend....its very much appreciated
At 12.25" and a mere 5.7 ounces, the Cold Steel Frenzy's 5.5" CTS XHP blade is well suited for wild boar attacks and contra-personnel engagements. The edge is not perfectly straight like a wharncliffe, instead sporting a very subtle anti-belly to maximize slashing efficacy. It is a drop point design in the truest sense. The needle tip is backed up by a hefty spine, providing a lethal combination of stabbing efficiency and blade strength.
Yes sir. It's the absolute best D2 you can get, in my personal opinion. Also, It's a better performer than many knives in other more "upscale" steels in my collection from various makers/companies. Also, and I'm probably a broken record mentioning it, but this is one of the knives actually made by Bob himself, not his stepson (who has taken the reins of the company and is making entirely beautiful, excellent knives under the Dozier name). I'm actually carrying it again today, as I am most days lately.
That's a fine looking Cold Steel, Mr. Rider.
Thanks my Friend !
I really like the spanto and hinderer Blue scales are some of my factory favorites.
Today’s carry ready to go !
I missed out on the 99s, gave up looking long ago
Going with a knife that's about as old as me along with a lanyard my sister made for my birthday for today's EDC. Guess it's fitting these two are paired up.
