I have found that S35 likes a refined toothy edge and seems to work better for me that way. It will take a polish but it always seemed like it would loose the bite quickly. As always ymmv.

It’s a Emerson MiniSheepdog with Micarta scales and S35vn dealer exclusive. The mini and standard sheepdogs both come with bearings even on the standard run whitch is a nice feature and different flavor I like . Although I love the standard hydraulic feel Emerson has with there teflon washers to

That Micarta is sweet ! Didn’t realize they had that many options because when I got mine there was only two the SW and satin and those sold out fast to. Think there all gone now except for the secondary market. Like you I love mine what a great beafy knife !
