I have a bark river woodland special that I've had a few years. It has the older style of sheath that they made, and it's gotten so loose that I really can't trust it to hold the knife. What could I do to fix this sheath? Alternatively, where could I find a compatible replacement sheath?

Try slipping a thick piece of leather into the sheath -- a bit of wax (I use SnowSeal on all my leather sheathes) should hold it in place. I did the same with my Marbles Fieldcraft and it works fine.

I've done this using rubber cement. Works well.

I had the same problem. I used a piece of self adhesive velcro(the soft fuzzy half) and lined the the inside top of the sheath. Made it a little tighter without a lot of work.
