Things I've learned from this thread:

Foxy Follies are photogenic, nay, voluptuous.
    Westfork's 30" Kobra is super sex-ay.
Ted needs more knifemakers to enlist his services.

I was gonna jump in and post my pics, but alas, they are not up to the standards of quantity and quality set by those of you who contributed. Maybe when I've got a couchful of khuks like Jai...

My pic quality is low because, a) I'm not a good phographer, and b) I have to take low resolution pics because uploads take forever!

Also, a confession - I rarely remember what I bought after I bought it. That is, I can't always accurately identify the HI blade I have, I just know I like them and their variety.

These will go basically from small to large.

First, my Rusty SD in its new (made by me) sheath. It is my newest EDC. [IMG]

Next up, a bilton and an R-9 I modified by opening up the cho to make a choil and shortening the handle. I also put in a lanyard hole. It is also one of my regular EDC blades. Sorry the quality of the pic is so bad. I was using my daughter's camera for the first time and hadn't yet figured out how to turn on the flash. [IMG]

Next, a wood-handled Kumar Karda with its new sheath. [IMG]

Next, my modded CAK Bowie and a (I believe) 14" BDC. [IMG]

Next, my Seax and my R-1 knife. The Seax's blade has been, uh... patinaed! [IMG]

Next, a carved, horn-handled Kumar Karda with patina-blade, and a baby BDC. [IMG]

    More later!

Andy, I like your open-air pictures. Looks like that roll of woven wire is begging to be stretched. Those R-1 stick knives are real handy for limbing and miscellaneous chopping where you can't get a good swing.

Thanks, guys. Westfork, just rolled up that wire in anticipation of moving it out to the new property. And in fact, I used the R-1 to clear some brush out of the fence line exactly because it works so well in such conditions.

I tell you what, folks, I'm pretty new to the khuk thing. The last three months have been eye-opening, and i have been enjoying these interesting blades to the maximum.

Here is a pair of villager BAS/WWII blades. The wood handled khuk's blade has a patina.

My D-1 knife. This knife is light (compared to other HI blades) and mine took an amazingly sharp edge. It is often at the head of my bed for things that might bump their way past any other armaments that didn't do the job.

This is a blade by SGT Khadka, I forget what the designation was. It does indeed have a facetted handle which is quite slender by HI standards. I love the scroll work along the spine. It has the prettiest wood of all my khuks, IMO. The sheath is also one of the best executed. And, along with a chakma and a karda, it came with..... a pencil! :p

My Foxy Folly. Somebody called these blades "voluptuous", I fully agree!
