Frisian for you guessed it... horn! According to my app at least...

Buffalo horn bolsters and Ram's horn scales
Ebony subliners reinforced with carbon fibre
Titanium liners and spring, double detent
Stainless pattern weld blade at 2,6mm (0,102 inch)
    OAL 140mm (5,5 inch)
Blade 60mm (2,35 inch) cutting edge a little shorter
    BESS sharpness 200g
    Weight 41g (1,4 ounces)

I have been meaning to use horn for a while. The bolster scale junction has the tiniest of 'dovetails', almost not possible to see but they are there at 30 degs. Also, I wanted to use alternatives to the typical laminates so layered some ebony veneer with carbon fibre to stabilize it. I think it creates a nice effect under the Ram's horn which is almost translucent at these thin sections. The asymmetrical slip is stitched with silver plated line.

As always, comments or questions are welcome, thanks, Ig

Thanks, I’ve tried to simplify things. Makes for a light carry though. Ig
