Nice Queens, guys!
Lovely Winterbottom, Al!
More "Queen for the day"
@Jack Black says these were made to give to schoolboys at the time (I believe the girls got scissors). He has seen plenty of them. I found this at a gun show last year.
Another Queen... but what else for a "Q"
I vowed that this round, I'd use only knives in which the letter of the day was the first letter of a word that was part of the "normal" description of the knife (maker, pattern, etc.). I have to concede defeat on "Q".
(I guess I'll have to add a Queen knife to the very top of my wish list! )
Gotta watch them vows!
Q is for Queen, K is for Krein, W, C, and D...well look for yourselves
Queues de poisson(s)
R is for RAT, Railsplitters, and Ramshorn! Thanks to @Railsplitter or @black mamba, can’t recall who I bought this from
Welcome to my world.
It must have been Jeff, Neal. I still have all my old knives on a spreadsheet under a "Sold" tab and although I did sell mine a few years ago, mine was serial number 315.
Do you think I could have, in good conscience, gotten by with
"Q is for Quill"?
Great choice and particular favourite of mine the Queen No.6 Teardrop. I'm lucky to have the ACSB shown and Zebra plus the WCSB and BEM versions. The Bird's Eye is the least satisfying as it's a queer cat-barf pink colour and it has build faults-got from an unscrupulous dealer years ago. But, the pattern is an excellent locking knife with very sharp D2 possibilities
WCSB Stockman and ACSB Jack, same frame. The Jack qualifies for my notorious 'dirt-trap' accolade @r8shell as it has no wraparound spring and has this chasm like space under the minor blade with no liner between the 2 blades either..
Of course you "could" have!!!
I haven't been keeping up with this thread, am I too late to post a Quill knife?
@Will Power , it has a wraparound spring.
Excellent example Rachel! A nice rarity too
ALL knives should have wraparounds, sheer laziness and depravity not to An invitation to wickedness and vice, hence the dirt-trap
I'd do it!
Schatt and Morgan by Queen
You could have, and I think you did.
As for me, I’ve got nothin’. I also made the rookie mistake of using all three of my Pioneer Xs in the first round, so I’ll be out of luck then, too.
