I agree completely, although I usually carry the Compact in spite of its limitations.
Super Tinker is the one I would pick (It is also the only one I have currently). If they made an 84mm Sportsman with scissors that would be the ultimate to me for EDC.
I've changed my mind again.
If I could have only one Vic, it would be the Deluxe Tinker.
No, I just can't decide...
I'm serious this time...
Oops! When I uploaded the picture, I lost the original post. Basically the idea is that pocketability may be more important than having scissors. My personal examples of SAKs convenient for pocket carry are the Sportsman or Cadet or something similar.
If I'm going hiking or backpacking, I may toss a Huntsman into my pack, but I definitely wouldn't want to carry that heavy, bulky knife every time I feel like carrying a SAK.
No, it's sacralege!
I better give up. i'm outnumbered. I'm still not totin' a SAK with scissors.
Come on man!
At least put a Vic Classic on your key chain.
I'll think about it.
They've just announced that a Farmer X is on the way. I wonder how many people are about to change their minds.
SAK Tinker is my EDC carry. All the pocket tools I need.
Sounds a few pounds too heavy for me.
That’s something I could get excited about.
Yep I change mine to the Farmer X. Definitely picking one up when it comes out.
