Think it was worth the wait ;)

Too many postings of the wharncliffe Mini Trapper, I just couldn't resist. Was looking to order the bone stag, then stumbled across this one.

Definitely worth the wait!! First one like it I've seen. The grain plus the saw cuts make it appear amazingly wood like. The color is fantastic, not to mention the beautiful Damascus.:thumbsup: Congrats on that one!!!

Very nice! Those sawcut covers look fantastic.
The mini Wharncliffe trapper is probably my favorite modern Case, it's hard to top that blade selection.

Thanks guys. Happy with it so far. Can't wait to get it in the pocket and see how it goes :)

Made in 2016. I was pretty surprised to find it available.

Got this Sowbelly in CV today and glad I did. This thing really feels good in my hand, though the wife likes it too.

Some of my recent Case knife acquisitions:

I just received the Tribal Spear; it's the big one in the photo. It is very comfortable in hand. ;):D

The Case Mini Moose was slimmer than I thought it would be.

And the Medium Toothpick feels smaller than it actually is (4.25 inches).

Been looking this thread over again, been awhile since I cataloged any of my knives; my favorite pattern is the Stockman so I'll start there. Got the 1970's and very early 80's covered on pattern sizes. Okay on the late 1980's to early 2000's, but I haven't gotten any of the new patterns since the early 2000's (Jr. Cattle Knife, Humpback Stockman, or Sowbelly Stockman) - guess I should take care of that first. Then I need to get back in time to the 1920's to 1960's - that takes a bigger investment! OH

When it comes to the 18 pattern MED STOCKMAN redundancy is good (just in case you lose a favorite EDC you always need a backup knife). OH

By golly, if you are going to make a mistake, then by all means make a good one - and you did! Beautiful blue bone. OH

Just ordered one of these Diamondback Seahorses too, only with scrolled bolsters. The pile side scale is different than the mark side...engraved snake belly!
