    I got this knife recently for my birthday customized just the way I wanted thanks to my wife and my parents

    When I responded yesterday 3 photos showed. Now 1 and 3 show up and the second one is not loaded.

    That's really good looking! The overall design of the MCR is really tempting to me with that great clipped blade. I'd love to see a company like Flytanium do some aftermarket anodized bolsters, though the factory bolsters are truly nice. Congrats on that!

    You've prompted me to contemplate building one as well. I played around last night on BM's site and built the same as you, but used black scales and made the collar and backspacer red. It looked very cool!

    Good looking... when new. If you plan on using it at all, report back with pictures in a couple months when the coating is scratched. That's what I don't like about coated blades.

    I own two fixed blades (RAT-7 D2, RC4) and only one folder (Emerson Commander, bought used) with coated blades and they don't look too good after a while.
