Funny my wife decided to clean a nice flounder, and 1/2 doz good size lane snappers this past Sunday . I got out of the messy job. :)

Oh yea, she used the Buck 121, and my D2 118. She did a perfect job. Of course they were razor sharp. Very tasty, 3 meals.

Sounds like my wife, Jim. Not afraid to get her hands dirty. I've never held a 121. Does the blade flex nicely?

I feel bad I didn't take pictures. We were pretty tired after all day on the ocean. But there will definitely be other days !

Tom, the 121 is like the pathfinder but a thinner blade. The older made 121's flex very nicely but they came out with a new model with a stiffer blade. Maybe someone knows the history of the change ? I never got a chance to use the new style. But I really like the 121 fillet knife, the thin blade gets SHARP. I'm sure it would work great on game too. Buck knifes are tough !!
