it was inspired by a dagger she saw at blade show 2007. A Billy Mace Imel dagger. I made it for her as a 10-year wedding anniversary present. This year will be our 20th.
What a thing of beauty! Pretty much incredible. The handle wood is really fine looking. It’s a type of dyed burl? If this was ten years, I look forward to what twenty brings. And an early congratulations! Best of thoughts, always, for you two. Mike
Congrats! Here’s to twenty more! I’m sure it will be a beautiful dagger. Can’t wait to see it after it’s finished.
Looks to be dyed California Buckeye burl, some really beautiful material. Twenty year anniversary, too, wow!
Fantastic! The scales remind me of a knife I had with green dyed elder burl in color. The grain looks like buckeye burl. I’m thinking almost anything would look good on that dagger! Jo’s a lucky lady. My wife will probably get a card.
Are you kidding me! It just can't get any better than that. Putting us to shame with gifts like that. WOW
These new FK2’s are ridiculously nice! I thought it would be tough to top the original FK, but I was wrong. The CPK team outdid themselves once again. Mashed Cat nailed it on these sheaths also.
Does anyone have a photo of the new FK and the EDC 2 or 3 with the blades lined up? I want to see what the difference is real world in cutting edge. Thanks
