    I haven't had the inclination or opportunity to to pursue photography in a while. Hopefully later this year I will be able to pick it back up.

    Some older shots I think turned out ok.

    I'm no photographer and I only use my cheap phone, but here are some photos I like best.

    I always admire the fine images that get posted in this forum. I'm pretty much a smartphone point and shoot guy when it comes to taking knife pics.
    I like this one. I'll call it "Waiting For Spring".

    Thank you for the additional pics! I can see why that 72 is your most cherished! The angle of your pic in your original post really gives a good look at how gnarly that stag is - and uniform on both sides. Really doesn't get any better than that! Bravo

    I seem to remember you had a picture of an old harness jack on a fence or something I would like to see again if you can find it.

    My pic qualities are never the best... but I’m loving the photos and want to contribute!

    I felt like the coloring of this pakora matched the 86 perfectly.

    I think these are the ones your thinking of, plus a pic of it in some old bridles and such.

    I took these with the sunset behind me, the light had changed quite a bit in a few minutes between taking the first pic to the last. For the better I think ;)

    Is there a “Show off your GEC tubes” thread? :D (I’ll have to search, I’m sure there has been at some point.)

    [IMG]

    I’ll follow up with some more photos (non-GEC-tube-related ;)) for this thread in a bit. :thumbsup:

    Off topic, but I've been to the Maltings, donn. It was years ago though. My youngest son spent a semester at York University, and that was one of the places he took us for some brews and pub food. It was a great visit to York.

    Small world indeed, I was also up in York while I was visiting Doncaster years ago, took this shot of a small castle along side the river;

    Not mine, but a favorite. What are the chances I’ll ever get my hands on one? Or that they’ll come back around? Any covers. I assume the same probability as catching a unicorn in the wild or lightning in a bottle. :D
