ETA: PA is the place for those kinda stuff. We prefer to stick to CPK in here
Good to see that some things can supersede partisanship.
I thought it was funny when they stopped making then black and changed the name to SXT. The rumor was that the acronym meant Same Xact Thing.
Yeah, but I also think that it would be inappropriate at this time anyway.
And with tools like guns and knives, there are really only so many ways to design them while still ensuring excellent function, and functionality has a beauty of its own.
Now when you're talking about things like shoes, cars, clothing or artwork, then we're trying to account for individual tastes and preferences in aesthetics. The fact that someone, somewhere has bought/used/owned/worn just about everything that's ever been made available, shows that someone, somewhere has liked the way it looks.
Those are close. Mine say Winchester Ranger +P Law Enforcement Ammo. They called them cop killers and stuff. Some people get crazy sometimes! They will not penetrate body armor, but the petals flair out with very sharp edges. I have some that I shot into a bullet catcher that my dad and I built before he passed away. They are buzz saws!
RA9T/Ranger-T is actually the most recent (though still several years old) iteration, designed to expand more reliably in the denim tests than the older versions.
“Her” aside, this is just another added tension to an already fragile situation.
I’m in a community right along the US-Canadian border with industry that relies heavily on cross border traffic and economic activity. Both sides really. Lots of us up here are hugely effected by what happens south of the border not only economically but socially as well.
I used to be in the US 2-3 times a week. Not anymore.
Thank you for the laugh - I needed that!
Same here. They just don't fit my hand well.
No politics here just facts. I have a wife and 2 daughters that along with every other woman in America owe a lot to the efforts of RBG.
"The Copper Rivet" sounds like the name of a pub. "Copper Rivets" sounds like a bluegrass band.
Can we please stop with the politics? Saying "no politics here just facts" is akin to a southern woman insulting someone then saying "bless his heart".
"No politics please", and then inject politics... Maybe they mean, "politics for me, but not for thee".
Can someone please provide me a list of topics, that will in no way segue into politics, please?
Can you please explain how I was injecting politics? I was trying to be as polite and neutral as possible and even give (IMO) a funny similarity. It is like saying "but" in a sentence, essentially you negate what you just said. For example, "that’s a great idea, but we tried it before and it didn’t work". It isn’t a fact, it’s an opinion "that every other woman in America owe a lot to the efforts of RBG". Facts can be proven.
Some liked her and thought she was good for the country. Some didn’t like her and thought she was bad for the country.
Politics can be very polarizing and this isn’t the place for that.
We can talk about guns, but not gun control for one........
We could also discuss pulp versus no pulp for OJ.
I’m in the pulp group.
Dog pic time yet?
I broke a right rib in 1985 and it will still do that to me on occasion if I turn at a weird angle to get something in the back seat or in the shower, etc. Feels like someone has a Shiv in my side and is slowly twisting it
