Wait. What? There was a dagger for sale today? Good lord all mighty, such is my luck. Off work today and thought the same. *kicks rocks furiously
Hey everyone, thought I'd post the question here rather than making a new thread or unnecessarily bumping the bst thread, but I have a FK1 I'm thinking of selling. Problem is, I'm in New Zealand. So probably wouldn't sell for a while considering worldwide shipping delays but would that be something people would be trusting in? Do you think I'd eventually be able to sell it here even if I covered half the shipping? What is a ballpark figure for a FK1? Been trying to sell local but just no demand for such a great knife here. Reason for selling is I feel bad about keeping a great knife stored away only to be handled once every couple of months and easing up on the knife hobby (hence letting my gold membership lapse) and wanting to free up funds for other hobbies (FISHING)
I'm going to rattle off a few thoughts and opinions in no particular order but in order to sell on here (WTB/S/T thread) the same Exchange rules apply, i.e: - You must be a Gold Level member at the very least to sell - You must determine and add an actual price to your listing - You must cover all fees, including shipping, i.e, no more "net to me" or "friends & family" or as you had intimated, partial contribution toward shipping! You did not mention whether it is new, used or what condition or if 3V steel vs the D3V steel and what type of scales but that could be a mid 200's to almost 400 USD type knife with all the fees on you, if you should find an interested U.S buyer. This range I have stated is my own opinion based on the few of these which I have seen selling over these past 12 months or so. It may be better for you if one of our Aussie CPK buddies or maybe the Gent from Singapore was interested for a smoother transaction but I can not name names. Upgrade your membership if it is worth it to you, make your listing and see what happens. You may even get some PMs regarding this but if you end up selling that way, it will not be totally kosher because of your membership level. GLWS.
Answers in quote. Have been trying to sell on our countries auction site and been through twice with only a few people adding it to their watch list at less than what it cost me to get it here. Cheers for taking the time to reply mate
Interesting thing happened today. After participating in Fridays sale, I thought to send a DM because I wasn't sure if my email was available on my profile or not. It was then that I found out his inbox was full...and the next thought was , crap, didn't think of people just DMing instead of posting like they do for regular sales...and its full.. bet I missed it after all. So today curiosity got the best of me so I sent an email to jo about the email availability. No sooner did I hit send than I got a bill from her. I can honestly say this was the very first time I've been happy to get a bill for 300 plus dollars....lol edit, what the hell is going on with my keyboard?!
Man, today I had some time between getting my 2 front teeth fixed like crown work (you should’ve seen the other guy’s face!) and then my next appointment high was a few hours out, so... I decided to park at the UTC Mall here just grab some coffee and treat myself to some leisurely strolling, wasting time and people watching... The Sun is shining and Her weaker winter rays are gently brushing the patrons; cheesy Christmas music is playing in the background and despite the fact that the shops are all almost empty, life still feels good... We have a great, beautiful, plentiful and bountiful country... Still probably the best one on this Earth... I know that things are very challenging to say the least but we still have a great thing in here. Let’s not fudge it up and let’s be grateful for such simple moments of bliss and happiness My next gratuitous daily report may come to you from the beach
I don’t think I could fit just one leg in that thing lol !!!! And I thought my friends old Honda Insight was small geezzzz !!!!!!
Little kid in the pics probably thought it was one of those Barbie Jeep/Power Wheels toy cars . Hey, adults fit in those things too... sorta
