I'm at work and i can reach 5. Military in my back pocket, Hogue OTF in my front pocket, SAK in my drawer, 2 in my bag a ZT0308 and a SOG multi-tool.
Does an ivory letter opener count? If not, then none. I'm currently in my office where my computer is located, but all of my knives are stored/kept elsewhere in the house.
Six. Four that are in an old plastic mac and cheese container and two that are just sitting on a night stand with said mac and cheese container. That was fun....NEXT! In Container : 1) Boker stockman 2) Buck Vantage 346 3) Boker Automat 74 4) CutleryLover Barlow On Stand : 5) Case Lizard Skin Russlock 6) Boker Scout/Camp
If I reeeeeally stretch (and probably tip over my chair), several dozen. But realistically, the four on my desk in front of me.
Technically 2 in my pocket ( don't carry the Vic classic for the knife ) one my belt and one I left laying around the other day.
Reading between the lines, it seems @sgt1372 is (was?) working without pants. I give him credit for being gentleman enough not to say so
Right now, As a I type this, within arms reach without having to get up off my couch... Victorinox Executive SAK Spyderco Manix 2 Spyderco PM 2 Spyderco Para 3 Jim
My mouse looks like a Motorola Razr, which has a knife name. Does that count? Otherwise 0. I might have to be committed.
Since I am sitting at my writing desk at home right now and currently am in the process of rearranging my knives I could touch pretty much all of my knives but the Vic Nailclip on my nightstand, the Masamoto Petty in the kitchen, my "unboxing" knife that stays in my computer office, my Böker that I hopefully left at my desk at work today, the sak clone in my car's glove compartment and probably some other knives that don't come to my mind right now. So the answer is about 100.
1 in my pocket, 2 on my desk, and 5 in my desk; for a total of 8. 14 more if I wheel my chair just one foot over to the bookshelf.
I would have to take my shoes off to count that high. I am in the kitchen where I also have some storage cabinets for non kitchen knives.
