Scandinavian Hunter

  1. One of the things I like about Olamic is that they are not afraid to open up on new designs or genres of style, one example is this Scandinavian Hunter I scored at Blade

This is a big hunter with an absolutely Razor Sharp D2 blade with the Scale left on the flats for a rustic look.

Eugene, tell me again about the handle materials and who did the decoration on the handle / beads?

    Alright so this one is...
Stabilized, dyed Karelian Birch wood on the handle.
Scrimshaw insert + bead of polished stag (Russian deer)
    Brass bolster
Blade is I believe just shy of 6"
    D2 steel at 58 HRC
Not pictured is a fitted Scandinavian style sheath

These knives are a limited one time only run of 7 with different color Birch. The plan was to make these with our Damascus (those are coming) but we thought why not do a non-Damascus version as well.
