Here are all 3! One super light vanax skinning blade. Fully skeletonized and crazy thin BTE. RCF Apex with a beautiful Vanax blade. Another 4 inch Apex with Royal blue G10 and titanium pins!
A knife for @ScooterG 26C3 Apex at 64HRC. Getting black micarta handles and copper pins. The bottom 2 knives are fighting knives from 2 different customers. One is a Zfinit ring knife that will be cerakoted, the other is a larger combat knife in Zfinit. That will have grey terotuf handles (on the way) More pics to come today!
Here she is. Almost ready for HT. Grind on the left side was fighting me a bit. But other than that, each side is pretty close. Once I use the pyro glass platen I should be able to even it out. And bring it up to 120 grit. It's currently at 36. Took a lot of steel off!
In sure as many of you have seen I have not been posting much. Unfortunately I have to retract my full time knife maker status. Financially it wasnt working for me. I will be finishing the current orders I have. I plan on reopening books some time in March or April. I will likely only take a few orders. I would like to start experimenting new blade shapes and new models and post them when completed. It will reduce lead time and smooth things out. I would like to get back to really pushing the limits with the new steels. There will definitely be some wild new projects in 2020!!! I will keep everyone up to date as I finish up orders.
