    Hey folks,

I have been on the edge of pulling the trigger on a Native 5 Salt. I've been interested in trying out the LC200N steel, and I happen to like the yellow FRN as well.

However, I found myself wondering how the Native would fit into my EDC rotation. I thought it might make a good general camp knife, but I dont know if it can replace the spyderco stretch, my all time favorite camp knife.

So who's interested in a stretch salt in LC200N

It’d be the perfect hunting knife in lc200n and bright yellow so you can’t lose it...

Count me in for one, the stretch is one of my favorite designs.

Nah, but Salt needs more big normal knives under a bazillion dollars.

It'd be nice, but it'd need H1 liners or some other rust-proof material...

But IMHO, the optimal configuration would have solid FRN handles-- now that'd be ultra low maintenance.

That may require new molds and you know how expensive those are!

I would buy. There are both production and market challenges to this becoming a reality, though.

Heard a whisper that the lc200n salts might be green...

I'd buy one for sure. The stretch might be my favorite Spydie.

I don't know if liners need to be anything too special.

Seems like stainless steel is pretty easy; it's when you start wanting edge holding etc. that it gets complex.

A stretch salt in LC200N would knock everything else out of my pocket on a camping trip.

I'd prefer a wire clip and of course the trademark yellow.
