    Is that what these are? Slab cut AM?

    They are darker than any other natural micarta I've gotten from CPK but not nearly as dark as the aecm I'm seeing.

    Appears to be standard natural micarta. They take on a much deeper color with time and use.

    These were fondled a lot by a fellow CPK lover and appear similar to what you have.
