Epic...such a great finishing job.
Since said vendor isn’t a paid vendor member here at BF, I’m kind of hamstrung when it comes to providing a specific or detailed roadmap of how to find what I’m talking about. That said, go to the Shiro page on the website of said vendor and you’ll see what I’m talking about in the top left corner of the listings of the Shiros offered for sale. If this doesn’t help, PM me and I think I can get totally specific via PM.
I see it now. Thank you.
Redrum was one of those things that had escaped my notice and I was quite puzzled by your post until I googled it. That led me to figure out your sig line too. At first I'd thought you'd simply been affected by too much interaction with filtrum.
getting some better pics but that orange is hard to capture. trying to remember to take advantage of various types of natural light cause i always end up wanting to snap a pic after the sun has gone down
Time for some cardboard action. Mindful of the staples though.
Happy Thanksgiving fellow Shiro’s!
Cleaning up 14 inches of snow with another foot or so on the way. Snow is to white to get a good picture. Will try again on next run.
Back in the house warming up with my favorite fidgit spinner.
Finally got the right lighting for the blue to show up.
The key to getting titanium anodizing colors to pop is full spectrum (natural lighting), since it's a clear oxide layer that refracts light and not actually colored
^ his name is Chip, his fame is Chipmetal (one of them anyway!) and I approve his message
Shirogorov / Chris Reeve UniHati F95 custom graphic. Recon1 lottery. I believe it is a one of a kind. It's a beauty. Now what am I gonna do with it? I certainly wouldn't want to use it. So far, I just flip it.
Hy everyone pls help me .
East Europian distributor hunt for, because I like for 111 model.
Out for a ride.
PSA. When cleaning your Shiro don’t slide your finger down the blade using only a paper towel. These suckers are sharp!
Reminds me of the first time I flipped open my Neon Zero, the knife slipped and the tip dropped about 6", through my pants and boxer shorts and about 1/8" of the tip wet into my thigh. Luckily I had crazy glue nearby. I now have a little scar about 5 months later from the day I received my first Shirogorov.
Dealers can pay a fee to support and be registered with Bladeforums. Posters on these forums cannot link or direct anyone to dealers who have not done so. Vladimir_K is a private reseller from Russia who is registered with Bladeforums. Search him here at BF and write to him at his listed email. He should be able to find and supply you with a 111.
For my own part, I carried and used my NeOn UL on S30V Shirogorov Saturday.
While I have Shiros in a variety of blade steels including one Vanax 37 and three in M390, I'm perfectly happy with my one in 440C and two in S30V. All take really keen edges and even the "lesser" steels perform excellently.
