Received this AM, will read and have in the mail to Andy the first of the week.
Andy, book will be in the mail Monday AM, enjoy.
Great. Thanks Dick.
So, how does one find out who to send it to next? Is there a list posted?
"just follow the white rabbit" ...
i am the one that is supposed to be next, just send me a pm when you are ready so that i can send you the address,
I never knew that Bill wrote some books, but that seems right.
I'd like to get in on the pass around if thats alright.
If some of you aren't comfortable with that I understand.
Like Andy I have no idea how I missed this thread. Guess I got it confused with the "Songs" passaround that Howard started that I am signed up for. I would definitely like to get in on this one as well, so please add me to the list.
I am sorry the original idea to post and discuss the book did not work out. I laughed a bit when I read about roasting a puppy. I know many of the plains tribes ate dogs, including the Crow and Cree, the Assiniboine, Gros Ventre and the Sioux. The Blackfeet did not eat them, and were horrified at the thought. Along with bears, horses and fish, they were considered sacred animals, and they would starve before eating them.
Hey AlexCA, I'm ready to ship you the book. Lemme know how to accomplish that. e-mail or pm is good.
Anybody have any idea how to get in touch with Alex?
sorry i missed your message yesterday ...
No problems Alex. I'll get it addressed tonight, and mail it out tomorrow.
I am interested as well.
Shipped it today.
Great story by the way. I wouldn't have minded that thing being a lot longer. It is a great read. Thanks to all who made it possible. I wish it was purchasable. I wouldn't mind reading it to Hannah when she was older.
The book is ready to be shipped to Vampire Hunter D, please send me your mail address quickly,
It should be in my profile??
In any case it's Dan dot Balderas at Gmaildot Com
Sorry that I didn't see this sooner. Long work weeks keep me from playing on the internet.
I'm bumping this becuse Alex has specified that he doesn't want to recieve e-mails and I sure haven't gotten one.
If anyone knows how to get in touch with Alex I would appreciate it if you would either let him/her know or pass it on to me.
All; I have already read this great book and just finished Bill's poetry book, when I remembered I have a scanner. I scanned "Songs of the Sand Country" to CD and would like to do the same with this. If it could be returned to me I would scan it, send it on it's way within a day and make copies available to whoever wants them.
Thanks, post, email or PM me.
So, just following up: It's gone from Dick to Andy, to Alex and to Vampire Hunter right? I think I'm next? Just checking as I just got and devoured "Songs of the Sand Country" today.
Norm, when you finish with it please send it back to me and I will scan it to a CD like the other one, and then pass it along.
Dan, I will get in touch with you tomorrow and send the book as soon as I have your address,
(I had to leave in a rush for a business trip for the last few weeks),
Ok, will do Dick, thanks very much.
