    Armand is back. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::):):)

    For his greatest show on earth a great Buck knife - the Kalinga. Here is an old version, pre 82. Is there anybody able to nail down the mfg date somewhat better?

    Here are 3 pairs of before and after conversions. The 422 Bucklite, 110 Folding Hunter, and early 560 Titan were modified to do blade changes. The pivot rivets were removed and replaced with #5X40TPI cap screws. In the case of the 560, all 4 rivets were replaced.
    #5X40TPI Helicoils were installed in the R/H handle slabs. The L/H handle slabs were counterbored to accommodate the heads of the cap screws.
    All three modified knives can use any 110 format blade or any early Selector blade. Of course a Selector blade cannot be slid into place, but the exchange is pretty fast, involving the removal of a single screw (much like the Model 186).
    The lanyard hole on the black Bucklite was drilled out to accept a 1/4” push pin for a quick release lanyard.

    I got impatient for hunting season to put this one to work, so broke it out for some kitchen duty.

    My son got me this for Father's Day.[IMG][IMG]
