Nice indeed. Great to see how many members keep their knives in great condition. An investment should be kept in good order and appearance.
Edc for me is a stag 501. But just picked up a 486 carry ing in front pocket and hardly know its there, really liking the feel of this knife.
301stockman. I've carried it everyday nearly for 9 years. I always have at least one other knife with me, but I love buck. The mission statement about the senior partner for me is enough reason to carry and buy buck. Not to mention the quality. Do wish they would change the grind on the blades.
Workin outside doin some utility work so the CSAR got strapped on in the pouch. Great knife but the pocket clip has all the flexibility of a hunk of rebar!
I'm likin that Buck Wallace. My next is a fixed blade and this baby looks like what I'm lookin for. 154 CM steel like my CSAR and love the tanto style blade. Looks like it could be used for several functions. Been checkin out offerings from various makers and following advice from you pros. This looks good for batoning too. Thanks for the pics.
It really is a tiny knife. I was looking forward to getting one and asked my local shop to get one in for me. I was really disappointed. So much so that I ended up not buying it. If you baton with anything bigger than a jewelers mallet, you might break it...lol
The sheath is amazing though and it wears great inside the belt. Almost as much cutting area of a 110. I like it.
It's Friday before the 3 day weekend my Buck 501 from the custom shop with buffalo scales and mirror 420HC blade.
Friends, thought that I would revive this thread. Share a picture of your EDC Buck knife! Here is my little 1987 vintage 703
