So today is a day that ends in Y.. Must be Small Tinker Day!!!
A SAK I found in my collection. It is not a multi-purpose knife in the usual sense. A blade is designed for cutting. Any other task, such as prying or pulling out staples, is a misuse which can damage the blade.
This is an 84mm Celidor Victorinox SAK with a single blade and no other tools, not even tweezers or toothpick.
It probably is an earlier version of the Excelsior, which has the same size and shape but two blades.
Its a "Sentry" the very early models were sold as the "Junior" a great knife that disappears in your pocket. The current production run is called the "Excelsior 1 blade"
I never see the old ones here in Australia for sale and anything from America, the freight charges are a killer. I've only ever seen pictures of the clip point blade. You have some bonza knives mate
Thanks for the information. I bought this knife many years ago. A friend found it in my box of random unused knives. I polished it with Flitz and Renaissance Wax, and it looks like new.
Thanks mate, I sent you a message
..its Tinker Tuesday
And the white Spartan is beautiful!
This is what happens when I read about Alox here and then take my break in a truck stop with a knife shop..
Like most work days today I'm carrying my Huntsman.
An older advertising Tinker today paired with a Case 62032 Jack. I like old advertising knives, then search to see if the company/ies are still in business
Double post due to continued forum malfunctions.
My old Recruit in a slip I made out of scraps of leather. Since I made this, I'll know what to change next time.
My well worn tourist today
Well.. I am going hiking later.. So the Hiker seems appropriate..
