Love both of them. Is that ebony wood?
For today I was reminded of some interesting delrin covered knives by @Amir Fleschwund, so I thought I'd add one of my favorites by Robeson. These two are both by Robeson, with the Daddy Barlow wearing strawberry bone covers and the Jack (almost identical to the GEC 78 pattern) wearing the strawberry delrin covers (first introduced to cut costs by Robeson in the late '50.)
I love your cake pics Harvey!
It's always a treat to see YOUR knife Christian
Very nice Will
Good to see your Fantastic Four Gary, hope you're having a great vacation
Thank you very much, couple of great-looking Robesons there with you my friend
Morning folks, hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm starting off the week with my pocket-hogging Hartshead Barlow, and a special knife gifted to me by @btb01 last Christmas in Sheffield, made by Camillus of course Hope the fishing is good Barrett!
Imperial I got in Little Falls NY.
Good Monday Morning
Back to work I go after a wonderful Summer vacation...
We’re back home after a great trip to the Rendezvous. I’m hoping everything goes as Smooth as these two today! It’s great to be back home! Hope y’all have a great week!
Which knife is that Will?
I think you hit the nail on the head. Similar jigging pattern and same shield too. Thank you, sir. And that is a beautiful Canoe.
Thank you on both. Kim will be excited you like her Toothpick. And she loves her Coke Bottle. So do I. I keep asking her if she wants to trade for the Buck 305, but so far no dice!
That should do it.
Thanks! It’s always great to get home! Is that steak sauce patina I see on your new Barlow?
Took care of that little spot that was annoying me on the awl, and a little work on the kick. Oiled the joints, and into the pocket it goes for today.
Orange and yellow delrin makes me smile.
Good morning to all y'all. I got up a little earlier than Miss Norma so I made the coffee (at least my cup for now). I'm totin' the No. 8 until late afternoon, when I may swap it out for something different to carry to my gathering of buddies for an after work (they are still working) libation.
Nice pairing, and I agree, yellow and orange delrin make me smile too.
Micarta Monday gives me an excuse to carry this pair.
Maybe this pair for Mammoth Monday.
Only excuse I'd need would be a day ending in "Y". This for me again today.
Thank you cudgee and yep, the Churchill is a very dark ebony
