Very fine Case Copperhead LT - real depth to the bone color in that one. I own one from the 1970’s which is a fine knife, but lacks the beautiful color of the one you own.
That is a perfect Jackknife - a Federal shield on a dark wood handle just sings!
Very cool photo, that back spring is amazing!
@bigfish64 Many thanks, Jérôme is an artisan cutler, a Big Fish in the Lag world. He has even more intricate filework too.
Received this via a trade yesterday. Really like the 78 frame.

Nice Esquire! My next build will be one of those, after I finish the home made Tele copy I’m building for my son. I’m in the midst of inlaying the side dots on the neck, but at 0 degrees f., it’s too cold in the garage!
At least your hand didn't seem to blister.
Going with my Usual Lamb and a GEC Conductor to start my Stag Saturday
Love the stag on that Conductor! GEC seemed to have hit that pattern out of the park last year.
Nasty scalding of your right hand Jack. But it it makes for a nice contrast with you beautiful HHB. Hope it heals quickly.
It was my KOTY and the only Pen Knife that I've ever really taken to.
I think I knew in the back of my empty mind that you were shutdown there. I hope you are able to get out for a hike soon, Jack.
