Carrying these two fresh from the tube yesterday.
This one’s blade won’t stay polished much longer. Patina is in its future.
@5K Qs ~ thanks, Gary!
@JOELSM ~ great spear on your new TC!
Camillus 23 jsck, and same trusty, and useful TL-29.
Let's see how the little Italian I assembled yesterday goes, I won't be asking much of it but I've got backup incase it fails to save me from any dolls that try to rob me
Oh and I've got a belt knife to handle any heavier cutting tasks too
Great looking pair!
Thank you, Gary!
I carried my GEC Orchard Gem on the hike today.
And finally, don't use your pocket knife to do this to a tree (and no I didn't).
Thanks! It's a volume knob at the lower left. I guess the chicken head style knob was chosen to make it look even more unique.
I wish they would make the 38s again. Lyle's were my favorite but sold them to fund another purchase that I don't remember now. If I could get any GECs back it would be those 3.
I'm recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed, so I don't feel like taking a new photo. Here's a recycled pic of the stockman I'm carrying.
Still with the #29
Carry for the week, potentially longer:
From the Rough Ryder "Classis Carbon" series:
RR1740 Large Stockman, and RR2040 (I wish my eyes was that good) Barlow.
On new military style black web belt, an SK Blades "SMOKE JUMPER" Buck 110LT with fancy stone washed CPM154 blade. In a "wrong" plain black Buck nylon sheath, mounted horizontal.
I did the same thing, but I couldn't let go of one of them fortunately. The Farmer's Jacks are iconic in shape; I too wish we could get more of Lyle's.
Thank you very much, Jack!!!
It's always great to see a Buck, which pairs up nicely with that cool US "Charlie Lamb!"
Thanks a whole bunch, Gary!!! @Jack Black thought the Keen Kutter was cute; I agree.
Thanks so much, @Invoice!!!
Toting a burly Trapper and a sleek Toothpick, both made under Bill Howard's masterful eye.
You will definitely need your backup. You think she’ll be intimidated by that little thing?
Oh with pepper there I'll probably be the one that's backup, dolls and stuffed animals don't stand a chance against her razor sharp puppy teeth
I've got a great edge on it and it cuts well though, so it wouldn't take much to finish off any stuffed animals if pepper needs my help.
