Great find Rick. I saw your wtb ad and it didn’t take long. That is one pretty knife.
I have a modded SAK Electrician being made by the forums very own spikediesel. I will post pics when it’s done. He does outstanding work so I’m jazzed!
I forgot to add.... I also have a Moore Maker 2 blade moose sowbelly headed my way... fresh off the 'bay. Probably paid a little too much, but it's still way below price for a new one... and this one was made in '98, and looks new.
A couple of Northfield 74 's .
- just landed myself a sweet Stag Kotoh...........should hopefully be with me before our 2nd lockdown
In my Saints post-game euphoria, I decided to buy a replacement for my lost SAK Executive, and I picked up a MiniChamp while I was at it. It's always fun to have a new Swiss Army Knife to play with!
It's on its way, Le Thiers Pocket from Fontenille Pataud in stag (or similar).
My first single spear Barlow. I saved a lot of money not buying a walnut Boker stockman this morning.
This should be in the mail tomorrow...Lanny’s Clip by Bobby Toole...
Just picked up Terrain 365 Otter with a Dendritic Cobalt (Stellite 6-B) blade and Titanium handles. The LionSteel Roundhead is shown for size comparison.
Not exactly “on order” but I did pick this up at the Fisk Virtual Micro Show this afternoon...it should be here next week...Happy am I...
Love the patterning on the steel. What material is used for the scales, if you don't mind me asking?
Case Tribal Lock with black canvas micarta scales.
I recently ordered and received my first traditional: A Case Sowbelly Stockman with "Olive Green Jigged Bone" handles. Fell in love with it, instantly.
The "bug" got me, and I just ordered a Case Barlow with "Smooth Brown Giraffe Bone" handles and their TruSharp steel.
Something about that handle material is just sexy to me. Lookin forward to its arrival.
I found a local knife shop that sells Pallares Solsona kitchen knives among other things. I contacted them and asked if they could get me a folding knife from this Spanish factory and they were positive about that. If all goes well I will get this slip joint, handle is bone with mosaic pin, blade is carbon steel. Oh how I love these mediterranean/south european knives.
Oops, wrong thread.
