Personally, I love the spydiehole. It works well on washer knives, and you can open most spydiehole knives with pretty heavy duty gloves on.

I'm a big fan of the spydie hole myself!

I enjoy the Spydie hole, of course, but a flipper is the easiest for me to operate...

The friction on a good fixed blade sheath.
I like a nice flipper and the spyderco hole.

Button Lock Auto, push the Botton and WHACK! :D

Manual, the Spydie Hole is hard to beat followed closely by the Flipper.

Honestly I like variation. Flippers, thumbstuds, spydieholes, and button locks (underutilized in the industry IMO). However the good ole AXIS is probably my all time favorite.

I flip-flop between thumb stud and flipper. Spydiehole and similar are OK but I don't have great technique.

I really don't get along with automatic or assisted. I always seem to cut myself on them being careless.

Flippers are fun to play with, but for actual use I prefer something other than an auto or a flipper.

I'm pretty much a fan of 'em all.
Thumbstuds, flipper tabs, front flippers, top mounted front flippers, thumbdisc, Spydiehole or any hole opening method, button lock, button auto, slide auto (OTF), bali, wave, kydex sheath, leather sheath with friction or snap, Axis style, compression, slipjoint (I do prefer it to have a half stop though).
Variety is the spice of life.

Though I can say I'm not a big fan of friction folders.

i accidentally discovered the "spydie drop" so ill have to say that, im not a fan of the emerson wave, i accidentally opened my matriarch 2 with it and the tip kissed my arm, wasn't too bad, but i would have been happier if it didn't happen,

ill have to agree with the flipper, some celeb reviewers on youtube say the flippers on certain models dig in your thigh when pocketed in a sitting position, doesn't sound pleasant

    Spidiehole. Closely followed by flipper.

Had my Sodbuster with me yesterday. Wisht I'd had my Sage.

Thumbstuds or Spydieholes both work fine for me. Admittedly, I have a greater preference to thumbstuds overall.

I have more flippers than anything else. But I like most any one-handed deployment method.

Flippers, followed by the spydiehole, thumb studs and wave least favorite.
