My latest is this diminutive little 539 that I traded for yesterday. Its S30V and weighs slightly less than 3 ounces on my postage scale. NIB The 110's just for comparison. I think it will make a nice skinner for our deer doins.
I was sorta bummed that I had gifted my 118, and hadn't obtained a replacement before they were discontinued. Lucky me, I found a dealer that had one of the cocobolo and brass ones in stock and on sale. My first Buck purchase since mid December. That's out of character for me.
Long story short, lost job and apartment in 2020, had to sell most of my stuff including knives to make ends meet. Back on my feet, bought new Ebony 55, 112, and 110 so I'm good now. Can't really complain though as I have remained healthy.
First knife from the custom shop.Ordered this Elk 110 on Dec,11 received it this morning.I think it turned out really nice.
Ya, I wish they the original drop point of the 426. While the 426 doesn't flow quite the same as the 500 and 501, it looks a lot better than the new blades. But they do that with a lot of models, to me the spine has to flow with the handle.
The Nighthawk. One of my favorite profiles. I will be interested to see what you decide to do with the blades. I like the stock handles, however I also think a completely different handle design would make it that much better.
