I’m making a sword from CPM 3V and am looking for CPM 3V bar stock longer than 36” (about 0.25” thick). I have only been able to find bar stock with a maximum length of 36” Can anyone recommend a supplier? Thanks so much.
Just how long are you looking for? If push comes to shove, you might have to get a couple of shorter bars and have them worked together.
I made 2 swords in 3V and ran into this also. I adapted the design to stay within 36". I dug up some info on welding this material, but wasn't convinced it would be as strong. Please post if you find a source.
