My new favorite(for today anyway). The 3D Machined/polished G10 scales really pop in the right picture(that I cannot take). Although it looks like it would be sharpened on both the edges its not, more likely not to get in trouble maybe.

Please give us production red and black models already Spyderco. I don't like having to combine 2 different knives to get my color fix.

The combination of handle color, worn out black coating and patina just looks spectacular. But I also like everything else in these pictures!

I'm carrying my Spydie as my dedicated "left hand" folder today. I have several reasons.

First is the easy attribute. The Spyderco knives are some of the easiest and quickest folders to open up with either hand, even if you are not that ambidextrous.

Second is my wife. As much as I have encouraged her, she will leave the house without a knife. To make matters worse, she is left handed. As you can tell from the photograph, the Spydie allows you to place the pocket clip on any side and any end. My wife just suggests which application works the best for her, and voila, she has a dedicated left-handed knife.

Now, she doesn't know (and doesn't wish) to learn about alloys. As a teacher, "her" Spydie might spend recesses in the cold Wisconsin winters, soaking wet during the class' painting lesson, or getting slathered in cheap spaghetti sauce in what passes as a 'dining hall.'

If you're a Spyderco fan you might want to do as I'm going to do. Buy two or three Spyderco models, especially if you're married to a lefty. Have her try one, then let her decide how the clip should be positioned. Heck, it's better than having her pry tar and stones off the bumper of her SUV with a very expensive Microtech...
