    I have eight blades in the works and today I got three hand sanded and etched. The big one is w2 1/4 thick with a 5in blade. The small ones are 8670 saw steel. And 2 file knives. [​IMG] [​IMG][​IMG]

    Like the hamons, nice. Have not seen much in 8670, what do you think? For toughness it should be amazing, interested in edge retention.

    Very hard. My next batch i will temper three times at 400.
